Los Suenos / Beach & Golf Resort
Nestled alongside an exotic rainforest with breathtaking ocean views, the Marriott Los Suenos Resort course is a 18-hole, par-72 championship course that offers a challenging Ted Robinson-designed layout that is a spectacular gallery featuring friendly monkeys and macaws.
Landscaped to include exotic native plants, banana trees and orchids, more than 150 species of birds as well as monkeys and other wildlife have been identified on the grounds. Look out for the monkeys, they will take your ball!.
Our favorite hole at Los Suenos golf course is easily the par 5 first hole. A drive to a wide fairway guarded by a large fairway bunker, then you are required to hit the precise distance to avoid thick rainforest on both sides and past the dogleg. The blind approach shot is a 120 yard wedge to a guarded green.

Westin Reserva Conchal / Resort
Reserva Conchal resort is located on the Northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, Guanacaste; just minutes from Tamarindo and Flamingo beaches. The Reserva Conchal Golf Course is part of the Westin Playa Conchal resort, a truly memorable golfing experience, designed in the classic tradition by Robert Trent Jones II.
Reserva Conchal golf course was the first Audubon-certified course in Costa Rica. Westin Conchal also was listed in the top 25 resorts in the world by Conde Nast and it's golf course was only one of four with a perfect score.
Our favorite hole is the 17th 210 yard par 3 hole that requires you to hit a 190 yard shot against the wind just to cross the lake. The elevated green, nestled in a rainforest setting, overlooks Conchal beach and offers awesome views of the Pacific.

Cariari / Country Club
Cariari golf is a world class course with tight fairways surrounded by plenty of trees. The combination of narrow fairways, wooded rough, and well guarded bermuda greens with a great roll is the reason this George Fazio course is easily considered Costa Rica's true test of your golf game. The Cariari golf course plays much longer than it's 6,590 yards - do want to test your shot making skills? Cariari is your best bet.
Cariari is conveniently located in the San Jose area, placed close mayor hotels like the Ramada Herradura and Marriott Costa Rica - just 10-15 minutes from the airport and San Jose's nightlife.
Our favorite hole at Cariari is the long par 4 second hole. A tight fairway guarded by a creek and dense trees - you will need to place your tee shot on the right side to have a clear shot to the green. The approach shot needs to be precise to this elevated green - too far: deep rough, left: bunker, right: OB, short: the ball rolls back 20-30 yards. Did I mention that you are hitting a long iron? Not fair.

The Valle del Sol Golf course was the first course open to the public in the San Jose area. With 7.011 yards, this par 72 championship style course offers ample fairways surrounded by majestic trees and large lakes which attract diverse and lively wildlife, where more than 20 different bird species can be observed. They are proud to be certified by Audubon International, the most acknowledged ecological program in the world of Golf.
Valle del Sol was designed with five tee boxes that allow the weekend golfer and low handicapper have a great time.
Our favorite hole is the short par 3 seventh hole. How can such a short hole cause so much havoc on your score? Green is guarded by water in front, deep bunkers on the right and a drop off in the back. Don't mind the plenty birds mocking you from the lake as you putt for a bogey.

Centro Campero Los Reyes is one of the most comprehensive recreational and sporting private complexes of Costa Rica's Central Valley. It is located in the Ciudad-Hacienda Los Reyes, in La Guacima, Alajuela. Our favorite hole at Los Reyes is the par 4 dogleg left first hole. The view of the San Jose mountains is awesome as you play a long iron to a tilted fairway. The second shot is a mid to long iron to a guarded green that is surrounded by trees, bunkers and a drop off on the right.
